Shakespeare's history

History was created on April 23, 1564 when Williams Shakespeare was born. Although little was known about his personal life, Shakespeare was a scholarly genius, eminent poet, and playwright. His education consisted only of attending King Edward IV Grammar School, which he studied Latin, Greek, and extensively read Roman dramatists.  After he finished his education, he married Anne Hathaway and had children 2 years later. He wrote many impressive and respectable works in his time, including Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and King Lear. He died in 1623. Though Shakespeare is no longer with us, he is still alive in the form of his words, and will forever remain so. 

“Tomorrow, and to-morrow,and to-morrow,
Creeps in this petty pace from day to day,
To the last syllable of recorded time;
And all our yesterdays have lighted fools
The way to dusty death. Out, out, brief candle!
Life’s but a walking shadow; a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon stage,
And then is heard no more: it is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing.”
