Elevator Friends

In King Lear, Kent is seen as Lear's right hand man. Even after Lear banishes Kent from the kingdom, Kent remains loyal and ultimately finds a way to stay with Lear. Kent is faithful, and it is seen that his opinion and judgment carry a lot of weight. Luckily, for Lear Kent has a sound mind and advises him to make wise decisions. What if it was different? What sort of situation would Lear be in? A lesson can be learned from the relationship between Lear and Kent. The people that we surround ourselves with have a great influence on the way we act and the decisions we make,whether we realize it or not. Their personalities and ways begin to rub off on us.
