Machiavelli was realy smart when he advised prince to be slightly cruel. If I were a prince I would have to punish cruely so to keep others from being harmed in the future. For a cruel prince is feared, but respected, and a nice pricne prince loved then hated. The truth in this is based on not ennate good of being cruel but in the good that ccomes from the Justice of punishment.
